Alex is from Charlotte, North Carolina, where she spent most of her time playing tennis & lacrosse, but hanging out with the theatre kids. After watching several of their shows, she realized that she wanted to be up there with them, and auditioned for her first show, Fiddler on the Roof. She played Motel’s mother Shaindel, had two lines, and has never looked back.
After graduating from Barnard College with a BA in Theatre with an acting concentration, she stayed in New York and has been living, working, and acting in NYC ever since. She’s been lucky enough to do a wide variety of types of work on stage, from Shakespeare to sci-fi, and is currently training at MN Acting Studio. She is also a certified Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, and loves to use those skills in her work whenever possible.
